Dorothy Belle Bullard, age 85 of Powell, went to meet her Savior on March 7, 2010. She was a member of West Park Baptist Church and a founding member of Temple Baptist Church. After working for Miller’s and Hess Department stores for many years, she retired in 1994. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Minnie Bullard; sister, Lois Overton; brothers, John Bullard, Nathan Bullard and Billy Bullard; nephew, Jackie Ray Overton. She is survived by her nieces Beverly Harris, Heiskell and Yvonne Copeland, Heiskell and nephews Bill Overton, Powell; Rance Overton, Heiskell; Donald Overton, Knoxville; Gene Overton, Oak Ridge. Great nieces and nephews, Regina Barnes, Monty Overton, Tracy Hitt, Todd Copeland, Cory Harris, Pickett Harris, Jill Carpenter, Julie Spires, DeWayne Overton, Christy Lowe, Lisa Overton and Kimberly Altum; and a host of great-great nieces and nephews. Service will be at 7:00 pm Thursday at West Park Baptist Church, 8833 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923 with Pastor Bob St. John officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday at 10:45 am at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for an interment service at 11:00 am. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday at West Park Baptist Church. Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel in charge of arrangements. |
