Bell, Geneva Dalton – age 91, of Corryton, TN, awoke in Heaven on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Hillcrest North, Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, Corryton, TN. Preceded in death by husband, William R. Bell; stepchildren, Marie Carrell and Joseph Bell; parents, Elijah and Mary Dalton; brothers and wives, Shields and Bernice, Jack and Mildred and Frank and Delores Dalton; sisters, Lois Oglesby and Sallie Lett. Survivors: stepdaughter, Katie Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Carson and Lorene Dalton; sisters, JoAnn Dalton and Faye Dalton; brothers-in-law, Richard Lett and Willis Oglesby; several nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends. The family extends special thanks to all the staff on the 3rd floor at Hillcrest North for all the love that was given to Neva. Also, a special thanks for the Homebound Ministry of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Funeral service 8:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with Rev. Jerry Vittatoe, Rev. Clyde Lakin and Rev. Damon Patterson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt’s Halls Chapel 10:15 am Wednesday and proceed to Graveston Baptist Church Cemetery, Corryton, TN for Interment 11:00 am. Active pallbearers: Michael Dalton, Daniel Ryan, Aaron Yarnell, Wayne Beeler, Stephen Garrett, Mike Tipton, Jack Martin, Shaun Martin and Jonathan Martin. Honorary pallbearers: David Farmer, Phil Babelay, Jack Treece, Richard Lett, Landon Lett and Jim Yarnell. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. |
